Dealing with Shock

Looking back, the floods of 2013 were one of the worst things that ever happened for people, and in many ways, some of the best. The following links were given to my by my dear friend Sean Potter of the Well Spring Therapy Group. Sean is one of the most highly trained body-workers that I know…

At the time, Sean had just returned from Connecticut and was exploring work called Neuro Fascial Processing

The following two links explain ways that we can touch our bodies to relieve ourselves of intense feelings of shock . This methodology was offered to people over a decade ago during the terrorist attacts of 9/11.   The first PDF is an overview that explains how Neuro Fasical Processing works. The second link shows which parts of the body to touch.

Link #2:SHOCK NFP

As an overview, one holds various parts of their body simultaneously for 10-15 minutes at a time. Or, this can be done for a friend / loved one. If touching the forehead, it helps to place a small folded towel on the forehead first.

I hope that this technique is helpful, and know that it is offered from a place of kindness. Please share with those who are receptive and struggling with processing the recent events.

Namaste,

jeff
